The goal of occupational therapy (OT) is to help kids of all ages learn to process sensory input and gain independence with everyday tasks. OT helps kids with emotional regulation as they learn to cope with sensory needs and aversive sensory input.
Tracy has loved all 20+ years of working as a pediatric occupational therapist. To the children of all ages she works with, she is affectionately known as Ms. Tracy. As a SIPT certified therapist, Tracy is able to help families answer big "why" questions about their child's development. Tracy understands that every child is unique in how they respond to their senses (touch, movement, body awareness, sound, taste, and smell). As a certified ADHD provider, Tracy works with kids to increase awareness of their activity level and how it affects their attention.
